WWE/Germany, International WrestleMania Unlikely, Indie Stars/WWE

In a follow-up to an earlier headline about WWE looking to expand The NXT brand internationally, one of the countries being Germany. The idea of an NXT Germany would end up being related in some form with wXw, very similar to the current NXT UK & PROGRESS Wrestling relationship.

Despite constant rumors that WWE will be holding a WrestleMania overseas - specifically in The UK - one of the main reasons this doesn't appear to be happening anytime soon is due to the time zone difference. While SummerSlam 1992 in England drew enormous numbers from a live gate and merchandising perspective, it was an overall business failure and WWE's reason was that it was tape delayed in North America.

As seen on last Wednesday night's episode of WWE 205 Live, Lio Rush defeated an enhancement talent named Josh Morrell. Morrell was played by indie wrestler Josh Terry, who also appeared on this week's RAW as one of the security guards destroyed by Braun Strowman. The other guards on RAW were also played by local indie wrestlers - Screwface Ahmed, Dean Allmark, Tony Spitfire, Chris Tyler & Boris Koslov. Below is a video of Josh Terry vs. Lio Rush on 205 Live:
