Shinsuke Nakamura

WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura won the Royal Rumble match earlier this year and is currently the United States Champion, but there have been a few reports made over the past few months suggesting that Nakamura's time in WWE is coming to an end. New Japan Pro Wrestling is reportedly set to offer "The King of Strong Style" a major deal to return to Japan once his WWE deal expires in the spring of 2019, but WWE seems to believe that he will be staying put. WWE has begun advertising their May 2019 European tour, and he is the only roster member featured on the advertisements. There has been no confirmation on a possible Nakamura re-signing, and the ads are always subject to change, but this could still be a huge indicator of Shinsuke Nakamura's in-ring future.

The Impact Wrestling roster has been expanded this year to include some of the very best talent in the business today. The promotion's Knockouts division already has incredible performers such as Tessa Blanchard, Taya Valkyrie, and Su Yung right now, but Impact's newest female competitor is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Jordynne Grace made her official in-ring debut as a member of the Impact Wrestling team during last night's Final Hour show on Pop TV. Grace defeated Katarina in her first match on the show. Grace has competed in numerous promotions, including SHINE Wrestling, over the course of her career. She will now have the chance to dominate the competition on Impact Wrestling going forward.

Former WWE Superstar Wade Barrett has chosen to remain away from active competition over the past few years. Instead, Barrett - now known under his real name, Stu Bennett - has been working as a commentator and as an authority figure for promotions such as DEFIANT Wrestling. However, Bennett made his unannounced Lucha Underground during last night's season 4 finale. Following the death of Matanza on yesterday's show, Bennett was shown in the epilogue asking if anyone else "had any bad news." Although season 4 of Lucha Underground has come to an end, there is still a ton of doubt over the future of the series as a fifth season still has yet to be officially picked up. However, if season 5 of Lucha Underground does arrive, it looks like Stu Bennett will be part of the show in some form.
