Liv Morgan on SSD Status, WWE Promotes NWO Reunion, Impact Debut

Liv Morgan had been set to team up with her counterparts in The Riott Squad to take on The Bella Twins & Ronda Rousey at WWE's Super Show-Down event this weekend, but Morgan's status for the match had been called into question once she received a concussion on Raw a few weeks ago. Morgan received two accidental legitimate kicks to the head while she was taking on Brie Bella during a multi-woman match, leaving her dazed and momentarily knocked out. Despite the injury, WWE never announced that Morgan would not be involved in the six-woman tag team match, and following a report from the Wrestling Observer claimed that she is ready to return to the ring, Morgan has told The Mirror that she is now "100% cleared by the WWE doctors" to wrestle this Saturday.

The original NWO trio dominated WCW programming back in the day, and after years of laying dormant, the boys will be getting back together for a special event in Orlando, Florida later on this month. Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash have been promoting the reunion online for weeks now, but WWE recently published a tweet hyping up the event that the company had previously made no mention of beforehand. While this could just be a simple favor to the NWO members, it is interesting to see WWE suddenly begin promoting the event after Hulk Hogan was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year, and after numerous rumors suggesting that he could be returning to WWE programming in the very near future.

Impact Wrestling is loaded with a number of talented men and women on their roster at the moment. The likes of Johnny Impact, Tessa Blanchard, Eli Drake, Pentagon Jr., Fenix, Austin Aries, and so on have greatly increased the depth of performers and in-ring quality on Impact's shows this year. One more independent wrestling sensation has just been given the chance to compete on Impact Wrestling, and that is Ethan Page. 'All Ego' Ethan Page debuted on Impact last night when he helped Matt Sydal defeat Rich Swann. Page has already been announced for Impact's upcoming Bound for Glory event. He and Sydal will be teaming up to take on Rich Swann and a partner of his choosing during that show.
