Ronda Rousey

As reported earlier today, their was a bit of confusion recently concerning WWE's TLC pay-per-view that had been scheduled to take place in October of this year. Fans had noticed that the show had been removed from the lineup, and some even feared that the event had been cancelled. However, PWInsider has confirmed that WWE has changed the schedule of their pay-per-views a bit. TLC will now be taking place on December 16th this year, which makes WWE's Super Show-Down event in Australia the only pay-per-view in the month of October. The schedule also shows that the Clash of Champions event has been cancelled for this year. The rest of the pay-per-view schedule for 2018 remains intact.

Although Rousey has been off of Raw due to a storyline suspension, Rousey has continued to wrestle at some WWE live events, and she also recently confirmed that she will be appearing in the audience during the Extreme Rules pay-per-view this Sunday night. Rousey had been advertised to appear on Raw the next night in Buffalo, New York, but the arena's website now no longer lists her for the show. Her next reported WWE date after Extreme Rules is for a Raw show on July 30th in Miami, Florida. No word on why Rousey was removed from the show, but she is technically still suspended in storyline. Rousey has promised before that she will be coming after Alexa Bliss once it is time for her to return.

One celebrated wrestler that fans though that they had seen the last of is now on his way back to the ring at last. Former ROH World Champion and GHC Heavyweight Champion Takeshi Morishima will be coming out of retirement for another match this October. His return to the ring was officially announced by Riki Choshu, and it will be taking place at the Genesis event that he is producing. Morishima has had classic matches against the likes of Daniel Bryan in the past. The Pro Wrestling NOAH star has no opponent announced for him at the moment, but given that Daniel Bryan could be on his way out of WWE by September, it is completely possible that a rematch between the two of them will be taking place very soon.
