Rey Mysterio

According to a report by Wrestling Standard, Rey Mysterio has signed a two-year contract to return to WWE with his deal starting on August 1st.

The deal speculates Mysterio could debut on the SmackDown Live in Brooklyn, two days after SummerSlam. According to the report, the deal was finalized 10 days ago when RAW came to San Diego, which is near where Mysterio lives.

If the report is true, Mysterio would be joining a Blue Brand that is beefing up its roster for its debut on FOX next year. Mysterio could work memorable feuds with any number of SmackDown stars, such as WWE Champion AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Shinsuke Nakamura and Jeff Hardy.
