Nakamura Still Not Wrestling, Cena Teasing Return & New Moves

One of the most popular stars on the WWE roster is Shinsuke Nakamura. The Japanese wrestler has been impressive ever since he arrived to WWE a few years ago, and he has just recently concluded a feud for the WWE Championship against AJ Styles. Although Nakamura did not win the championship, it appeared as though he will still continue to be prominently featured on Smackdown with a feud against Jeff Hardy waiting for him. Unfortunately for "The King of Strong Style," his planned match against Jeff Hardy was abruptly cancelled after it was confirmed that he Shinsuke suffered a leg injury. Several days later, it looks like Nakamura has still not been cleared to return to the ring.
Shinsuke Nakamura's leg injury reportedly came after he was bitten by a police dog earlier this week. He returned to Japan for a live event that took place in Tokyo this past Friday night. Nakamura came down to the ring on crutches and was unable to compete in his match against AJ Styles that had been advertised for that night. Instead, Shinsuke cut a promo before Samoa Joe interrupted him and locked him in the Coquina Clutch. AJ Styles eventually ran down to the ring and made the save, which set up a match between Styles and Joe as the main event of the show. As of right now, it is still unknown how severe Nakamura's injury is or when he is expected to make his official in-ring return.
John Cena has not competed in a WWE ring ever since he defeated Triple H at The Greatest Royal Rumble show in Saudi Arabia back in April. Cena is off working other film and television projects at the moment, but it looks like the 16-time world champion is getting the itch to come back to the ring again. Cena let fans know that he is currently filming a movie called "Project X" with Jackie Chan. Cena even teased that he could be incorporating some maneuvers from his training into his arsenal when he does return to the ring. There is no word on when Cena is expected to be back in WWE, but with the huge SummerSlam pay-per-view coming up in August, it would make sense for WWE to feature Cena on that show.
