WWE NXT Champ Aleister Black Thanks France, WWE Universe

Before WWE fans got to cheer on Aleister Black to NXT gold, fans across Europe and Japan knew him as Tommy End.

Wrestling under the ring name Tommy End, Black, whose real name is Tom Budgen, competed in independent circles in Europe, such as Insane Championship Wrestling, PROGRESS, Westside Xtreme Wrestling and Revolution Pro Wrestling, and international promotions like EVOLVE, Pro Wrestling Guerilla and Big Japan Pro Wrestling. Along with being a wXw Unified Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion, Black also gained a cult following in France, who viewed the Dutch-born wrestler as a fan favorite.
