Ronda Rousey

WWE signed former MMA superstar Ronda Rousey to a contract earlier this year, and she quickly became one of the most talked about signees in the history of the company. All eyes were on Rousey as she made the jump from UFC to WWE, and fortunately for her, she impressed fans and WWE officials in her debut match at WrestleMania 34 earlier this year. On that same show, Nia Jax was finally able to dethrone Alexa Bliss and win the Raw Women's Championship for the first time in her career. It seemed inevitable that the two Raw Superstars would cross paths at some point down the line, but it looks like the two will be facing off much sooner than originally expected.

Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey were both present at the NBC Universal Upfronts with several other prominent members of the WWE roster earlier today. While doing interviews on the red carpet, Jax challenged Rousey to a match and even agreed to put her title on the line. The challenge was quickly accepted by Ronda Rousey, and it looks like the two wrestlers will be facing each other very soon. WWE has already revealed on social media that the match will be taking place at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view next month. Can Ronda win the Raw Women's Championship this early into her WWE career? Fans will not have to wait too much longer to find out the answer.

In other news, another huge match for the Money in the Bank show was confirmed earlier today. Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon has just announced that AJ Styles will be putting his WWE Championship on the line against Shinsuke Nakamura once again during the show. McMahon did not specify whether or not the match will be a Last Man Standing match as had previously been rumored. This will mark the fourth time that Nakamura and Styles have fought over the title in a WWE ring. Although Styles defeated Nakamura at WrestleMania, the next two matches ended indecisively. Given that McMahon said that he is looking for a "definitive winner" in his tweet, it sounds like a stipulation for the match will be announced soon.
