John Cena

John Cena finally proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Nikki Bella, in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 33 last year. Between their appearances on WWE television, Total Divas, and on Total Bella's, it seemed like WWE's power couple would be staying together for a long time. Alas, Cena and Bella confirmed last night that the two of them are no longer together. The announcement was provided by Us Weekly and was later confirmed by the couple themselves. John Cena and Nikki Bella had been in a relationship since 2012 and were engaged to be married as of last year, but scheduling conflicts reportedly got in the way of the two of them ever making their wedding official.

The WWE wrestlers are indeed no longer together and this is not part of any kind of storyline for WWE or the Total Divas/Bella's reality shows on the E! network. Bella commented on the end of her relationship with Cena publicly by stating that she will always love her fans. Meanwhile, Cena indirectly referenced the split with an image in his Instagram page before he later posted inspirational tweets discussing how to deal with hardships and loss. John Cena and Nikki Bella's breakup came after years of Cena publicly admitting that he did not want to get married or have children even though Nikki has always wanted both. John Cena and Nikki Bella still currently work for WWE on part time schedules.

Tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw is bound to be an interesting one as it will be the first show of a two-day event known as the Superstar Shakeup. The shakeup will see various members of the current Raw and Smackdown rosters change shows. Anybody could be traded and fans are still speculating who will end up where, but Cageside Seats have revealed that titleholders may not be exempt from the shakeup. In fact, the report states that at least a few championships are expected to switch shows. Perhaps the US Champion and Intercontinental Champions will be traded, or maybe even the Universal and WWE Champions. Either way, the switches to the Raw brand will be revealed later tonight.
