WWE is hoping to continue their momentum from WrestleMania weekend into next week when they present the Superstar Shake-Up. This is the time of the year when they decide to shake things up and create new match-ups.
The original plan for Asuka at WrestleMania was for her to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship and then switch to the blue brand. Plans changed and Charlotte Flair retained the title but it looks like we might see more of Flair vs. Asuka in the near future.
The BanCorp South Arena is advertising Asuka for a Smackdown-branded show on June 10. These things can change but it’s worth noting that live event cards are provided by WWE and they are often an indicator of future feuds.
