Update on Ronda Rousey Missing Raw, Taiji Ishimori Coming to WWE?

Ronda Rousey has already made a huge impact on business in WWE and she has garnered the company a ton of mainstream attention ever since she announced that she would be joining the company back in January. She will be wrestling in her debut match at WrestleMania when she teams with Raw General Manager Kurt Angle to face the team of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. WWE previously announced that Rousey would be appearing on every episode of Raw leading up to WrestleMania. Despite this, she was nowhere to be found during the show from this week. WWE even proceeded to delete the previous article announcing that Rousey would be on the upcoming Raw shows.

Thankfully, an update on Ronda's status has just been provided courtesy of Pro Wrestling Sheet. The report claims that Rousey was in Pittsburgh receiving medical tests during the Raw show from this past Monday night and that she was "incorrectly advertised" for the show. Rousey did want to appear on the show this week and this is not a case where she missed the show because of a different commitment that she made. As mentioned, the original article claiming that Rousey will be on every Raw before WrestleMania has been taken down from WWE's website. Despite this, the same report claims that Rousey will now be on Raw (albeit possibly in dark segments) prior to WrestleMania.

A shocking announcement was just recently made by one of the true mainstays of the Pro Wrestling Noah promotion in Japan. After working for Noah for over a decade, Taiji Ishimori posted a message on Instagram recently informing fans that he is leaving very soon. He let fans know that his next goal is to wrestle for WWE. Nikkam Sports reported that Ishimori has been inspired to compete for WWE after seeing the success of Japanese talents such as Hideo Itami and Shinsuke Nakamura in the company over the past few years. Ishimori has been wrestling for Impact Wrestling in recent months and he is a former X Division Champion. He is currently 35-years old.
