NJPW recently held Night Three of their New Japan Cup Event which emanated from The Baycom Gymnasium in Hyogo, Japan.

Night Three's action was headlined by two first round tournament matches in which Tetsuya Naito faced Zack Sabre Jr. and Kota Ibushi faced YOSHI-HASHI, the winners of which will face off against each other in the quarterfinals. Below are the results from the show:

- Tomoyuki Oka & Yuji Nagata def. Ren Narita & Tetsuhiro Yagi.

- El Desperado def. Shota Umino.

- Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Chase Owens, Tanga Loa & Yujiro Takahashi) def. David Finlay, Juice Robinson, Michael Elgin & Toa Henare.

- Chaos (Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano) def. Suzuki-gun (Davey Boy Smith Jr., Lance Archer & Yoshinobu Kanemaru).

- Suzuki-gun (Taichi & Takashi Iizuka) def. Hiroshi Tanahashi & Ryusuke Taguchi.

- Chaos (Chuckie T & Kazuchika Okada) def. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI & SANADA).

- Kota Ibushi def. YOSHI-HASHI (New Japan Cup 2018 First Round Match).

- Zack Sabre Jr. def. Tetsuya Naito (New Japan Cup 2018 First Round Match).

The next show takes place tonight where the next two first round tournament matches are: Toru Yano vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Chuckie T vs. SANADA.
