Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar may be going into WrestleMania this year as the Universal Champion, but fans have been more concerned with Lesnar will be doing afterwards lately. It has been reported for several months now that Brock Lesnar's current contract with WWE will be coming to an end right around the time of WrestleMania this April, and "The Beast Incarnate" has apparently been strongly considering leaving the company in order to return to UFC soon. When speaking to TMZ, Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman recently stated that Lesnar could very well stay with WWE but he also said that Lesnar is ready to make a comeback  in the octagon if he chooses to do so later on this year.

Brock Lesnar's current contract status with WWE still remains up in the air at this point. It has previously been reported that the company has appointed Triple H to lead the process of getting Lesnar to re-sign and stay with the company for a few more years. While the following does not guarantee Lesnar's future with the company since he is still in negotiations, some fans have noted that the ticket for this year's SummerSlam event in August does not feature Lesnar among the other top stars in the company. ESPN reporter Arash Markazi's photo of his ticket shows that Lesnar is nowhere to be found among stars such as Ronda Rousey or Roman Reigns, perhaps signaling that his WWE departure is near.

One of the biggest fan-favorites in NXT at the moment just so happens to be The Velveteen Dream. His unique character and athleticism has impressed audiences ever since he debuted in NXT last year. However, the young star recently had fans talking due to his sudden outburst on Twitter. He posted a message on social media wherein he ranted against "indy guys" coming into NXT and taking spots away from those who are training in the WWE Performance Center. He also bragged about the fact that he is a "homegrown talent" in the tweet. We'll have to wait and see if this is used or brought up on NXT television, but it may indicate that Velveteen Dream's next feud will be against one of these supposed independent stars.
