NJPW New Beginning in Osaka Results (2/10): Osaka, Japan

NJPW's next big event was its New Beginning in Osaka PPV event which emanated from the Osaka Edion Arena in Osaka, Japan and the event was headlined by Kazuchika Okada defending his IWGP Heavyweight Championship against SANADA. Below are the results from the event:

- Yuji Nagata def. Katsuya Kitamura.

- Suzuki-gun (El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) def. Roppongi 3K (Sho & Yoh). After the match, El Desperado & Kanemaru beats up Sho, Yoh & Rocky Romero and holds up the titles.

- Taguchi Japan (Ryusuke Taguchi & Kushida), Michael Elgin & Togi Makabe def. Suzuki-gun (Taka Michinoku, Taichi, Takashi Iizuka & Minoru Suzuki). After the match, Makabe gets on the mic and challenges Suzuki for his IWGP Intercontinental Championship and Suzuki accepted. On his way out Suzuki beats up on some poor Young Lion.

- Chaos (Toru Yano, Tomohiro Ishii & Jay White) def. Taguchi Japan (David Finlay & Juice Robinson) and Toa Henare via Referee Stoppage.

- Rey Mysterio shows up on the big screen and challenges Jushin Thunder Liger for a match at the upcoming NJPW Strong Style Evolved event. Liger was at commentary and he accepted the challenge.

- BUSHI def. Gedo.

- Tetsuya Naito def. YOSHI - HASHI. After the match, Taichi attacked Naito on the stage and dragged him to the back.

- Will Ospreay def. Hiromu Takahashi to retain the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship.

- Hirooki Goto def. EVIL to retain the NEVER Openweight Championship.

- Kazuchika Okada def. SANADA to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. After the match, Okada spoke to the crowd and said that he wants to be in the New Japan Cup (which the champion usually isn't in) and to face IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Will Ospreay.
