New WWE Action Figures & Toys from Ringside Fest 2017! - Part 3
Thursday, November 2, 2017
Coverage of RIngside Fest 2017 continues with some new images of upcoming basic action figures created by Mattel. Series 50 of the Battle Packs line has been unveiled. This series sees two figures (friends or foes) put together in an action figure two-pack. This upcoming set will include figures of Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt based on their WWE Championship feud from earlier this year. Other figures include The Ascension with their updated face paint and ring attire, and the final pair of figures will be new versions of the Good Brothers, which has Luke Gallows in white and black ring attire, and Karl Anderson has black tights and a printed t-shirt.
The set of Battle Packs that will follow series 50 was also shown off at the event. Like series 50, series 51 will consist of three different sets of figures, each with two members of the roster. The Revival's Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson have new figures based on their promotion to the main roster earlier this year. Xavier Woods and Big E also have new action figures reminiscent of the weeks before they hosted Wrestlemania 33 this year. The final pair of figures sees the "It Couple," The Miz and Maryse, but unlike their previous action figures, these two are dressed as John Cena and Nikki Bella, referencing their parody skits of Total Bellas that the two participated in before their Wrestlemania match against the engaged couple.
Of course, several action figures in the main basic series were also revealed by Mattel recently. Series 78 of their basic figures will include Shane McMahon, The Rock, Braun Strowman, Natalya, AJ Styles, and Kevin Owens. That's not all though, because two other upcoming basic series were shown off at the event. Series 79 has updated versions of TJP, Neville, Samoa Joe, Nia Jax, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Baron Corbin. Finally, the 80th series of basic action figures will consist of Rich Swann, Sasha Banks, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, and Brock Lesnar. All three basic sets are scheduled to be released before the end of the year. Rhyno, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, and Kofi Kingston were also revealed for Basic 81, but no release date for that set has been provided yet.
