Numerous New WWE Action Figures Revealed by Mattel - Part 1
Monday, October 2, 2017
Ringside Collectibles has provided a ton of new images showing off some of the WWE action figures that will be debuting in 2018. We got a look at some of the prototypes for these images back at the San Diego Comic Con this past summer. We now have an idea of what these figures will look like as the complete finished product. Each item was shown off in the brand new 2018 styles of packaging. The basics shown off were new editions of Natalya, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, The Rock and Kevin Owens.
Battle Packs were also on display for these new photos. The Ascension will be rising up once again with a new set of figures featuring their updated face paint and ring gear. New figures of Sheamus & Cesaro, as well as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will be coming out with some printed on t-shirts. A new Battle Pack based on the WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania 33 earlier this year will arrive as well with Randy Orton being available for purchase with a new dreadlocked Bray Wyatt figure. Stephanie McMahon will also be coming in a two-pack in her usual pantsuit attire, while a General Manager edition of Mick Foley will be accompanying her. Stephanie was also conveniently made with one open hand raised in the air. No doubt just moments away from connecting with Foley's face.
Elite figures, of course, had to be shown as well. The first ever Elite edition of Charlotte Flair will arrive in Elite 54, and she includes a spectacularly detailed entrance robe based on the one that she wore at Wrestlemania 32. Aside from that, all of Elite 55 was displayed, and it will feature a "Flashback" version of The Undertaker's Big Evil character, as well as Neville, Enzo Amore, Big Cass, James Ellsworth, and Brock Lesnar.
We were first alerted to Mattel's new Epic Moments series that is set to debut next year at Comic Con. A physical look at the first Epic Moment set has been revealed, and it will be based off of the "Festival of Friendship segment on Raw earlier this year. The set includes Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho wearing the accurate attire from the segment, and it includes a plethora of accessories. The breakable TV, the painting of Chris and Kevin, the statue of friendship, Jericho's US title, Owens' Universal title, and, not to mention, "The List of KO." The set is also sold in a unique package based off the segment which took place in Las Vegas earlier this year.
All of these figures and more were revealed by Ringside Collectibles, but more surprises could be on the way at the annual Ringsidefest celebration on October 29th. Be on the lookout for even more WWE action figure reveals soon. As for these figures though, the belief is that they will be out in early 2018, or perhaps even in time for the holiday season this year.
