Discover. Progress. is a weekly (sort of) podcast about wrestling, hosted by David and Adam.
It’s not your typical wrestling podcast, as there’s very little discussion about the main WWE programming. Instead, most of the conversations circle around NXT, NXT UK, Progress Wrestling (hence the name), DEFY Wrestling, and various other independent promotions.
On this episode of Discover. Progress. we discuss the latest happenings in the world of wrestling.
The discussion starts with the latest installment of DEFY NOW, featuring a match between Ravenous Randy and Jimmy Havoc, as well as a chain match between Schaff and Alexander Hammerstone, that had a pretty great finish.
We also discuss the latest Progress show, Progress: Toronto. A show that ended up being pretty fun.
NXT UK saw more matches laid out for the upcoming NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff, including an addition David has been hoping for.
This week’s NXT was a pretty good episode, with a banger of a main event between Matt Riddle and Killian Dain.
All of that goodness was overshadowed by a huge announcement from WWE about the future of NXT. We discussed the expansion of NXT to 2 hours, and the fact it’ll be live on USA, and what that may mean for the show/brand in general. One of us is more optimistic than the other, but only time will tell how it’ll all play out.
