New NXT Tag Team Champions Crowned At Last Night’s TakeOver Event

Last night at The NXT TakeOver XXV PPV Event, we saw The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) defeat The Forgotten Sons (Wesley Blake & Steve Cutler), The Undisputed ERA (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish), and the team of Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch in a Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match to become The New NXT Tag Team Champions.

This is the first time The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) became The NXT Tag Team Champions ever since they joined the black and yellow brand. The NXT Tag Team Titles were last held by The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) ever since they won the titles at The NXT TakeOver: Phoenix Event, but The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) relinquished The NXT Tag Team Titles a couple of weeks ago due to them being called-up to the main roster as part of The Monday Night RAW brand.

After relinquishing The NXT Tag Team Titles, The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) were challenged to one final match by The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) during an episode of NXT TV. However, the match would end in a disqualification when The Forgotten Sons (Wesley Blake & Steve Cutler) would get involved. A brawl would then ensue when the team of Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch would make their way to the ring , thus making The Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match. Below is a look on The Street Profits as The New NXT Tag Team Champions:
