Three of the top female independent wrestlers in the United Kingdom are reportedly on their way to WWE very soon. It was reported earlier this week that WWE would likely be signing Viper - who competed as Piper Niven in the 2017 Mae Young Classic - to a contract. In fact, WWE reportedly outbid All Elite Wrestling for her services. However, it has since been reported that two other competitors are expected join Viper on WWE's huge roster sooner rather than later. All three of these women are currently involved in the World of Sport promotion over in the UK, but WWE has each of them on their radar right now and they are all said to be joining the company once their contracts come to an end later on this year.

According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Viper may not be coming to WWE alone. The report notes that WWE is focused on signing fellow standout UK wrestlers Kay Lee Ray and Bea Priestley. As of right now, it looks like Viper and Ray's contracts are done deals and they'll be starting off their WWE deals once their WOS contracts expire. As for Priestley, it may still be a while before she sets foot in a WWE ring. Priestley does have an offer from WWE on the table, but she is also said be considering working in Japan full time with her boyfriend Will Ospreay this year as well. These moves will be a big blow to the WOS women's division as Ayesha and Kasey Owens will be the only two women remaining.

Dolph Ziggler will be missing out on Raw this Monday night, which has some fans concerned about his future in the company. Rather than competing on Raw this week, Ziggler will be embarking on other projects outside of pro wrestling. Fans have wondered if this is a sign suggesting that Dolph may be on his way out of WWE this year. Ziggler was reportedly considering leaving WWE last year before his career was revived via a feud with Seth Rollins and a partnership with Drew McIntyre on Raw. According to Cageside Seats, Ziggler missing Raw does not mean that the veteran is leaving WWE as he is simply taking the week off. Ziggler won't be on Raw this Monday and he is not booked for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 27th yet either.
