Former WWE Champion Batista will be appearing alongside Triple H, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton in an Evolution reunion during SmackDown on Tuesday night. The group will be back in honor of SmackDown's 1000th episode, and it will also mark Batista's first WWE appearance in over four years. While it is possible that the group could just be back for a simple reunion, Mike Johnson noted on PWInsider's Elite Audio show noted that it could plant the seeds for a potential rivalry between Batista and Triple H. Batista has been very vocal about wanting to return to WWE for another run before ending his career with a match against "The Game at WrestleMania. Perhaps another match between these two WWE legends is not too far away from taking place.

WWE is set to return to the world famous Madison Square Garden arena in New York City towards the end of the year for a live event. The company is still coming back to the "World's Most Famous Arena" on December 26th as planned, but a few details about the show have just been changed. According to PWInsider, the event, which was listed as a SmackDown show, has just been changed to feature members of the Raw roster. The main event will now be Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage Match for the Universal Championship. Other announced matches so far include Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs. Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler for the Raw Tag Team Championships, and Mickie James vs. Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship. Finn Balor, Alexa Bliss, Elias, Jinder Mahal, and more are also advertised to appear.

Rich Swann continues to compete in Impact Wrestling, and he is now getting ready to compete on Impact's biggest stage of the year at Bound for Glory this weekend. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion needed to find himself a tag team partner for his match at the event, and during last night's episode of Impact, Swann's tag team partner was revealed to be none other than Willie Mack. Mack has competed in numerous promotions over the years such as PWG and Lucha Underground, but this is his first time ever competing for Impact Wrestling. He and Swann will team up to take on the team of Matt Sydal and Ethan Page at the Bound for Glory pay-per-view in New York this Sunday night.
