WWE Still Likely To Launch Women's Tag Team Titles This Year

With WWE Evolution set to take place in just over two weeks, there is still plenty on the card yet to be announced. One rumor that was going around a couple of months ago and could still happen is the introduction of new Women's Tag Team Titles. According to multiple sources, this is going to happen sooner or later and in fact, was originally scheduled to go down around The SummerSlam time frame, however, the company postponed it.
Now with The All-Women's PPV a reality, there is a very real sense that WWE might use that as an opportunity to introduce the titles. If this happens, the announcement will no doubt come from Stephanie McMahon and it is expected that the titles would be a joint brand initiative in that there would be one set of titles shared by both RAW & SmackDown Live Women Superstars.
