Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho has been working for WWE on and off again for decades now, and although he has been competing in New Japan Pro Wrestling over the past few months, Jericho has kept up a good relationship with WWE officials. However, he has been teasing a possible jump to Impact Wrestling lately, and according to the newest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, his Impact debut could very well be taking place soon. Jericho has previously said that he would not wrestle for any promotion in the United States out of loyalty to WWE and Vince McMahon, but Jericho is good friends with top Impact official Don Callis and he is said to be considering reversing that stance. Perhaps a Bound For Glory appearance could be taking place later this year.

A few different members of the WWE roster were in attendance for the first round tapings of the Mae Young Classic last night. Several members of the Raw and Smackdown rosters appeared in the front row of the crowd during last night's shows in Full Sail University, and according to Wrestling Inc. and photos sent in from fans in ad, the following names each made a cameo appearance: Cedric Alexander, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Lio Rush, Samoa Joe, Tye Dillinger, Funaki, Tyler Breeze, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Akira Tozawa, The Undisputed Era, Ember Moon, Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Dana Brooke, Kassius Ohno, and Performance Center recruit Adrian Jaoude

WWE Performance Center coach Robbie Brookside also appeared ringside to watch his daughter, Xia Brookside, compete during the Mae Young Classic tournament last night. Xia Brookside fought NXT Superstar Io Shirai in the final match of last night's tapings, and the match will be airing on the WWE Network at a later time. At just nineteen years old, Xia Brookside is the youngest competitors in this year's Mae Young Classic, and the young wrestler shared a hug with her father prior to the start of her first match in a WWE ring last night. Xia and Robbie commented on the match on Twitter not long after it was finished, and a video showing the two of them has also been uploaded online for fans to check out.
