The final piece of coverage from the first day of San Diego Comic Con featuring WWE and Mattel deals with even more of the Elite action figures that were displayed at the event.
Elite series 61 will include updated USA versions of Kevin Owens and
AJ Styles
, as well as new Elite figures of Tyler Breeze and Fandango of Breezango. Series 61 can be pre-ordered now right
here
.
Meanwhile Elite 62 will see Raw Superstars The Authors of Pain's
Akam
and Rezar make their debuts in the Elite line alongside updated versions of Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. There will also be two "Flashback" figures in the series, including one for WWE Hall of Famer Sting, and the highly-desired Dude Love figure. The set is up for pre-order right now at this
link
.
Other Elite figures that were put on display during the convention yesterday included "Flashback" versions of WWE Legends such as Paul Bearer, Ultimate Warrior, The New Age Outlaws, and Triple H.
Also, after having numerous figures made as part of the Basic and Battle Pack waves, Raw Superstars Titus O'Neil and Natalya will be receiving their first Elite figures in unnamed lineups later this year.
Matt Hardy will have a new Elite figure based on his days as the ECW Champion. Hardy comes with a shirt, microphone, and Mattel's first-ever edition of the silver ECW Championship. Matt Hardy's figure is also being exclusively sold on the Ringside Collectibles website.
205 Live also gets some love as Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali will both be getting their first-ever WWE action figures as part of the Elite line. Prototypes below seem to indicate the both figures will be based off of the Cruiserweight Championship match between Alexander and Ali from WrestleMania 34. Hideo Itami will also be receiving a "Flashback" Elite figure based off of his WWE in-ring debut in NXT.
SAnitY, Drew McIntyre, and Andrade "Cien" Almas all recently joined the main WWE roster, but fans won't have to wait too much longer for Elite versions of each wrestler. Each of them figures of them displayed during Comic Con, including Raw Superstar Ruby Riott, who will have two different Elite figures coming out shortly.
Of course, that does not mean that members of the NXT roster are prohibited from receiving action figures. Mattel showed that they are also covering the members of NXT very nicely with the first-ever Elite versions of Aleister Black, Shayna Baszler, Roderick Strong, Pete Dunne, and The Velveteen Dream all set to arrive over the next few months.
Finally, Mattel also showed off their next wave of Battle Pack figures, which are two-packs of wrestling action figures that may be based off of a rivalry or team featured on WWE programming. The next wave, series 55, will include a pack featuring Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch, and another including updated versions of The B-Team's Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, and Samir and Sunil Singh will also be receiving their first WWE action figures as part of this set.
That covers all of the new figure reveals from Comic Con yesterday. Be sure to check back here all weekend long for all of the latest updates from WWE and Mattel as they take over San Diego Comic Con!
