Drew McIntyre

For the first time in several years, Drew McIntyre has returned to Monday Night Raw. McIntyre has been wrestling for NXT ever since he returned to WWE last year, and he even became NXT Championship during his time in the developmental brand, but he had been out of action with an injury over the past few months. Rather than returning to NXT, McIntyre has been promoted to WWE's main roster and he has now aligned himself with fellow new Raw Superstar Dolph Ziggler. McIntyre and Ziggler attacked Titus O'Neil and Apollo during last night's Superstar Shakeup edition of Raw. It appears that McIntyre is now back on the main roster in WWE once again.

Several members of the Smackdown roster were traded to Raw last night as part of the Superstar Shakeup, but there were actually quite a few other members of the Tuesday night show who will now be working on Monday nights whose names were not announced during last night's edition of Raw. WWE announced through that several other members of Smackdown will be moving to Raw on social media last night, including The Ascension tag team and Mike Kanellis. These new members of Raw have all confirmed that they have switched brands through Twitter, so it should be interesting to see what these men will all be doing now that they are on WWE's flagship program.

A few other new additions to Raw were later confirmed by WWE online. First off, Chad Gable will be breaking away from Shelton Benjamin and will be coming to Monday Night Raw as a singles competitor. Zack Ryder also confirmed on Twitter that he is now a member of the Raw brand once again before his former tag team partner, Mojo Rawley, later revealed that he is now also a member of the red brand. It is possible that WWE could announce even more brand switches from Smackdown to Raw online as the day goes on, but the Superstar Shakeup will continue later on tonight with several established members of the Raw roster being traded to Team Blu, so be sure to stay tuned for the latest updates on the Superstar Shakeup.
