NJPW New Japan Cup 2018 Night Five Results (3/14):Shizuoka, Japan

NJPW recently held Night Five of their New Japan Cup Event which emanated from The Fuji Messe in Shizuoka, Japan.

Night Five's action was headlined by two quarterfinal tournament matches in which Hiroshi Tanahashi took on Bad Luck Fale and Michael Elgin took on Juice Robinson, the winners of which will face off against each other in the semifinals on Friday, March 16. Below are the results from the show:

- Suzuki-gun (El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) def. Ryusuke Taguchi & Tetsuhiro Yagi.

- David Finlay, Ren Narita & Toa Henare def. Shota Umino, Tomoyuki Oka & Yuji Nagata.

- Killer Elite Squad (Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Lance Archer) def. Bullet Club (Tanga Loa & Yujiro Takahashi).

- Chase Owens & Kota Ibushi def. Suzuki-gun (TAKA Michinoku & Zack Sabre Jr.).

- Chaos (Chuckie T, Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano) def. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, SANADA & Tetsuya Naito).

- Chaos (Hirooki Goto, Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI) def. Suzuki-gun (Minoru Suzuki, Taichi & Takashi Iizuka).

- Juice Robinson def. Michael Elgin (New Japan Cup 2018 Quarterfinal Match).

- Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Bad Luck Fale (New Japan Cup 2018 Quarterfinal Match).
