Dolph Ziggler

One of the most unique performers in the professional wrestling industry today is undoubtedly independent sensation Jeff Cobb. Cobb once competed in the Olympic games back in 2004, and he has since blown audiences away while performing as himself and while competing as Matanza Cueto on Lucha Underground. Interestingly, Cobb was spotted backstage during last night's Smackdown show. As of right now, it looks like Cobb was only there to visit a few friends, but you never do know with these types of situations. The former Lucha Underground Champion himself has even commented on his recent trip backstage with the WWE personnel on Twitter.

Another immensely talent professional wrestler outside of WWE at the moment just so happens to be current Ring of Honor Champion Dalton Castle. With Chris Jericho's upcoming professional wrestling and music-themed cruise coming up later this year, the legendary WWE Superstar has invited multiple Ring of Honor stars to board the ship. It only makes sense for the ROH Champion to join all of his colleagues on board, and that is exactly what will be happening now. In addition to competing, Castle will serve as the Cruise Director, which could be very interesting. The cruise sets sale out of Miami on October 27th and will last all the way until October 31st of this year.

Dolph Ziggler has had a bit of a bumpy last few weeks ever since returning to WWE television. It was recently reported that he was considering leaving the company, but Ziggler decided to re-sign with WWE after being offered a lucrative deal for himself. According to Sports Illustrated's Justin Barrasso, the contract that Ziggler just signed lasts for two more years and is worth $1.5 million. Barrasso also claims that reports of Ziggler looking to leave WWE are false and that he always intended on re-signing with the company. Ziggler returned to action on Smackdown just recently. It was confirmed during last night's Smackdown show that he will face Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and AJ Styles in a Fatal 5-Way match for the WWE Championship at the upcoming Fastlane pay-per-view.
