It's been a while since Mattel has come out with a brand new set of WWE Elite action figures. Series 53 was released in September, but wait no longer, because series 54 is finally here. A brand new action figure of John Cena is one of the six action figures featured in this particular series. Cena is based off of his appearance from the 2017 Royal Rumble, and he is wearing brown shorts with orange and blue wristbands. The figure also includes a removable t-shirt, hat, and dog tags for the 16-time world champion. The figure has a smiling headsculpt as well.
After literally years of waiting, Bray Wyatt has received an updated Elite action figure. Wyatt's last Elite figure treatment dates all the way back to Elite 36. Naturally, it was time for an upgrade, and Mattel delivered. Accurate gear and tattoos are represented, but the figure also includes removable entrance gear and a lantern. The action figure is based off of Wyatt's WWE Championship win at the 2017 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Wyatt also has a dreadlocked head with a sadistic smile across his face.
Can you handle this? The cruiserweights are beginning to invade the Elite lineup, and Rich Swann is represented in this series. Characteristically, Swann has a smiling headsculpt and he is made in green and black wrestling gear with wings attached to the side of his trunks. Swann includes the Cruiserweight Championship that he won on the very first episode of 205 Live, and he also comes with a removable white jacket with wings printed on the back.
The Usos have returned to the Elite line as well, but this ain't your typical nice Uso brothers that we're dealing with here. The Usos have ditched their colorful gear in favor of white and red street attire. Jimmy includes a removable red shirt and white jacket, and his brother Jey includes a sleeveless jacket and a red bandana. Both brothers have accurate tattoos and facial expressions. Maybe next time, Mattel will create the Usos in their "Day One-Ish" gear with the Smackdown tag team titles.
The crown jewel of Elite 54 is undoubtedly the debut Elite action figure of Charlotte Flair. "The Queen" arrives in style with an action figure based off of her win at WrestleMania 32 in front of a reported attendance of 101,763. Flair is made in blue gear with speckles around her eye. Flair's impressive size and tattoos are all represented with this figure, and it also includes the removable entrance robe that she wore before her match against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. A historic match featuring a historic performer now has an equally historic action figure to go along with it.
