Vince Russo, though a polarizing figure, has plenty of experience when it comes to writing professional wrestling programs. Russo has been hosting his own podcast in recent years, but it looks like he is ready to get back into the wrestling business again. It was announced yesterday by Konnan that Russo will be joining the brand new Aro Lucha promotion as a "script consultant." No word on whether or not the promotion is considering hiring Russo on a full time basis, but for now, Konnan specified that Russo would be working only for the December 10th show. Aro Lucha is a brand new lucha libre promotion and the company's first show will take place this Sunday at the Nashville Fairgrounds.

Batista may not be an active wrestler at the moment, but he has been keeping himself busy with a number of acting roles in Hollywood. Most notably, he's been featured in films such as Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Spectre, and Blade Runner 2049. The former WWE Champion appears to have just signed on for another film role. Deadline revealed recently that Batista will be starring in "Stuber", a film by 20th Century Fox which focuses on a detective (played by Batista) teaming up with an Uber driver named Stu as the two of them embark on an action-packed and hilarious adventure. There is currently no word on when the film will be released.

Roman Reigns vs. John Cena was one of the most anticipated matches that WWE put on this year. Fans were eager to see two of WWE's top roster members compete against each other, and some were surprised when the match took place at this year's No Mercy pay-per-view instead of a bigger event such as WrestleMania. Reigns won the match with Cena seemingly giving Reigns his blessing to be the company's top star after he was defeated. That does not appear to be the end of the feud though, because Cena and Reigns are advertised to face each other again for Reigns' Intercontinental Championship at an upcoming live event at Madison Square Garden on December 26th. Cageside Seats says that match is expected to be a one-off for that particular show.
