Gabe Sapolsky has been running EVOLVE Wrestling for several years now, and the promotion is one of the most successful independent promotions in the United States right now. Sapolsky's promotion has even managed to impress Triple H, and a relationship between EVOLVE and WWE has been going strong for a while now. It was reported a few months ago that Sapolsky had been working for NXT (even though he is technically not employed by WWE). For fans wondering what the current status between Sapolsky and NXT is, PWInsider recently confirmed that Sapolsky is still working in a backstage capacity during the tapings for episodes of NXT.

Paige was off of WWE television for over a year, so fans were ecstatic when she finally made her return on Raw a couple of weeks ago. She did not come alone though, as former NXT wrestlers Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville showed up and aligned themselves with the former Diva's Champion. The trio is now a dominant force on the Raw brand, and it was revealed on last week's episode that the name of their group will be "Absolution." It's no surprise to learn that the company has filed a trademark for the term 'Absolution' recently, according to PWInsider. The report mentions that the company will likely do the same for the new Riott Squad trio on Smackdown.

The Singh Brothers had the chance to be featured in the main event of pay-per-views and work alongside the WWE Champion when they were aligned with Jinder Mahal for several months. Now that the partnership is over, some have wondered what the next step for the brothers will be. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the two are not injured. This contrasts other reports suggesting that the Singhs were injured after they missed a recent live event that they were previously scheduled for. It would not have made sense for the brothers to realign with Jinder, so the company kept them off the show. There is reportedly talk of either keeping the brothers together as a team on Smackdown, NXT, or possibly 205 Live.
