NJPW Announces Big Matches For World Tag League Finals
Tuesday, November 14, 2017
In what is the last big card before the January supershow Wrestlekingdom 12. New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced matches for the Finals of the World Tag League Tournament show on December 11th at Fukuoka.
The big match and top draw will be the final match for the big World Tag League tournament with the winning team possibly earning an IWGP tag title shot at WrestleKingdom 12, but NJPW has loaded up the show with a lot more WrestleKingdom previews.
In a big prelude to the big Main event of the Tokyo Dome, this show will have IWGP Champion Okada teaming with fellow CHAOS member Will Ospreay to take on the challenger for the title on January 4 in Los Ingobernables de Japon leader Tetsuya Naito and his partner for the night LiJ member Hiromu Takahashi. The Ticking Timebomb and Ospreay are set to face off as part of a 4-way match for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title at the Dome show so this will act as a fine preview.
A big six man tag match has been announced as IWGP Junior Tag Champion Ropongii 3K team with their mentor Rocky Romero to take on the challengers for the Jr. Tag titles in the Bullet Club's Young Bucks and they team up with Kenny Omega before his dream match with Chris Jericho in the Tokyo Dome.
IWGP Junior Champion "The Villian" Marty Scurll teams with fellow Bullet Club member Cody to take on one of Scurll's challengers in January in Kushida and Kota Ibushi, whom Cody has challenged for a match at the Dome.
There will be a lot of tag action on December 11 at the Fukuoka Convention Center!
