6 Man Tag Match Made Official For Survivor Series

6 Man Tag Match Made Official For Survivor Series

It has been announced on both Monday Night Raw and the WWE website that a 6 man match between the three members of The Shield and the New Day will face off at the Survivor Series pay-per-view this Sunday.

The match, of course, stems from the New Day interrupting the RAW tag title match, leading to Seamus and Cesaro winning the belts from the Shield team of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. With Roman Reigns' return to action and appearing tonight on RAW, the WWE was quick to make sure the original members of the Sheild will have a match on Sunday's show.

During tonight's RAW, during an interview segment with Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle, all three members of the Shield appeared and it was then announced that they would face The New Day as they were the "leaders" of Smackdown in the attack on the RAW locker room weeks ago.

The Shield was supposed to reunite last month at the TLC show but Roman Reigns faced some health problems and was taken out of the match and replaced by Kurt Angle, supposedly at the words of Vince McMahon himself. It was said that Reigns suffered from a bad case of the mumps and was contagious.
