New WWE Action Figures & Toys from Ringside Fest 2017! - Part 7
Sunday, November 5, 2017
The final bits of coverage from Ringside Fest have emerged! Mattel has had a massive showing this year, and items such as Elites, Basics, Battle Packs, and exclusives for 2018 were all revealed during the event. A few other items were shown which are a bit different from the action figures we're all used to. The WWE Superstars line of action figure for girls was displayed as well, and new figures for Natalya, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss were unveiled. Also, new plush toys of John Cena, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, and AJ Styles will be coming out soon. Additionally, a special monster-themed line of figures based on Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, Asuka, Roman Reigns, and The Undertaker will be sold in stores soon.
That's not all though! Ever since they've returned to WWE this year, The Hardy Boyz have been at the top of over collector's list for figures that they want. The Hardys both have gone through numerous different periods of changes and readjustments, so Mattel definitely has a lot of different eras to recreate Matt and Jeff from. One of their first attempts will be a brand new "Flashback" two-pack edition of the brothers, both represented during their run from around 2007-2009. Matt is decked out in camo with a ponytail, just as he looked during his last run with WWE. Jeff Hardy has a paintless face, accurate ring attire, and the brothers are ready for action. They will be exclusively sold on WWEShop.com in 2018.
The final two figures displayed at the event were the upcoming Epic Moments figures of The Hardy Boyz. Fans will be able to recreate the The Hardy's memorable return to WWE at Wrestlemania 33 with this very set. The set will include multiple ladders of differing sizes, as well as the Raw Tag Team Championships that were won in the match. Jeff Hardy has a serious headsculpt and colorful ring attire, while Matt Hardy has grey ring pants, the frenzied hair with the blonde streak, and a new wild-eyed expression. Who knew Mattel would ever purposefully sell a "Broken" action figure? The set will be released in stores in spring 2018.
That's it for this year's coverage of Ringside Fest! Now it's time to start speculating what will be shown next year. It'll be here before you know it!
