Young Bucks Featured in WWE 2K19? Original Asuka Plans, Breezango
Thursday, October 12, 2017
The Young Bucks have been in the news a lot lately, especially ever since they were served a cease and desist letter from WWE forbidding the brothers from using the "too sweet" hand gesture. Despite this, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that the popular tag team has been contacted to do motion capture work for the upcoming WWE 2K19 video game. This is supposedly due to the Bucks being developed in the game's 'Create-a-Wrestler' feature by several fans. It's worth noting that this is being done by 2K Sports, not WWE. However, when 2K brought Goldberg, Ultimate Warrior, and Sting into the WWE games, they all eventually joined WWE. Hopefully, more on this story will be shared soon.
After serving as NXT Women's Champion for over 500 days, Asuka has vacated the title and will be debuting on the main roster during Raw's upcoming TLC pay-per-view. It has already been announced that she will be facing Emma in her first match on the show. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported on the original plans for Asuka's upcoming debut. Originally, a match between Emma, Nia Jax, and Sasha Banks was set to take place on Monday's Raw. The plan has always been for Emma to face Asuka at the event, but the company decided to take Nia Jax out of the match because they want to build towards a feud with Nia challenging Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship soon.
It has been months now and we still do not know the mystery tag team that has been messing with Breezango for so long now on Smackdown. Rumors have suggested that Luke Harper and Erick Rowan would be revealed as the culprits, but then it changed to SAnitY, The Authors of Pain, The Colons, and Harper and Rowan again. Harper and Rowan reemerged under their new 'Bludgeon Brothers' gimmick this week, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that the big reveal has likely been changed to another team since Harper & Rowan already debuted. Whoever the new culprits may be was not revealed.
