Neville

It was reported earlier this week that Neville had walked out of WWE before his scheduled match against Enzo Amore on Raw this week began, and that he has been released from the company. While conflicting stories are still being reported, PWInsider has clarified that Neville was not in attendance at all for this past Monday's Raw show. Neville reportedly asked for his release with a goal to make a name for himself on the independent circuit in mind, much like Drew McIntyre did before returning to WWE this year. He was reportedly unhappy with being left off of the Wrestlemania 33 DVD, along with several other issues. He is still employed, but he is not currently factored into any future cruiserweight storylines, live events, or other storylines at the moment.

The wrestling world was shocked when Jinder Mahal defeated Randy Orton earlier this year to win the WWE Championship. So far, he has managed to keep the title for an impressive number of days, and he recently defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to retain the title. However, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Jinder is actually working through a shoulder injury at the moment. There is no word on the severity of the injury, but he has been spotted on live events with Kinesio Tape on his shoulder, which is what other wrestlers typically wear when they are dealing with an injury of some sort. He has not appeared on television with the tape on yet.

Another story that surprised wrestling fans this year was when it was reported that Austin Aries had been released from WWE. Multiple stories stating that he left on his own, or that he was fired, were reported, but he is definitely no longer with the company. Since he was released this past summer, Aries' 90-day no-compete clause is just about over. Two new photos were tweeted out recently that advertise Aries' return to wrestling at Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore promotion in November. It appears that Austin Aries will be stepping into the ring with independent sensation Ricochet on November 27th in Sydney, Australia as well.
