WWE Monday Night Raw

WWE Raw is live tonight from Banker's Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, and will feature a much-anticipated Miz TV episode with guests Sheamus and Cesaro. The WWE Universe is expecting this to be a further lead up to The Shield reuniting as storylines build toward the TLC pay-per-view.

The WWE is also advertising tonight is the night the WWE Universe will get to meet Sister Abigail as part of the ongoing Bray Wyatt-Finn Balor feud. In other advertised storylines, Mickie James will be looking to prove she's no "old lady" as she prepares for her title shot against WWE Raw Women's Champ Alexa Bliss at TLC, and Kalisto will look to gather momentum as the newest member of the Cruiserweight Division.

Here's a WWE.com exclusive video asking whether tonight is the night of the official Shield reunification:

Miz TV Opens The Show

Miz welcomes us to the show. Tonight will be the return of the greatest award show ever: The Mizies! The first Mizie of the night goes to Curtis Axel, for persevering last week on Raw. Axel dedicates the award to Bo Dallas. Miz adds that he wants Dallas to get well soon. For the second time in Mizies history, we have a tie. The winners of the best supporting actor award goes to Sheamus and Cesaro for their role in the destruction of Roman Reigns! Sheamus and Cesrao join Miz and Axel in the ring.

Sheamus and Cesaro pose with their Mizie trophy. Sheamus says he wants to thank the man who made it all possible: Roman Reigns. Watching Reigns struggle to breathe while on the mat just made Sheamus want to beat him down more. Cesaro says they forgot to thank Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. If they didn’t knock out Cesaro’s teeth the Bar wouldn’t have had a reason to destroy them once again.

Miz goes on to say the Shield will never get back together. Doesn’t matter how many looks they share in the back. Miz says he and the Bar did something John Cena and The Undertaker could never do. They destroyed Reigns. Miz gives himself the final Mizie for orchestrating everything that happened last week.

Miz says he is the real Big Dog of WWE. Miz dedicates this award to his unborn child. Reigns music hits and he walks out on the ramp.

Reigns says this is where Miz shuts up. Reigns tells them all to get out of his ring right now. Miz says there are four of them and one of him. Miz tells Reigns to go get Ambrose and Rollins. The rumors about the Shield getting back together are just like Reigns himself; nothing but hype. Reigns says rumors? Who said anything about rumors? Ambrose music hits and Ambrose joins Reigns on the stage. Rollins eventually makes his way to the stage as well.

Miz looks like he has seen a ghost. The Shield surrounds the ring. A huge brawl breaks out. Reigns takes out Axel as Miz rolls out of the ring. Rollins holds Sheamus as Reigns Superman punches him. Reigns superman punches Cesaro. Cesaro turns around and walks right into the lunatic lariat. Rollins ripcord V-Triggers Sheamus. Miz tries to run away but Ambrose gives him Dirty Deads. Ambrose, Reigns, and Rollins triple powerbomb Miz. The Sheild fist bump over Miz’s fallen corpse.

Jason Jordan vs. Karl Anderson

Jordan with a fireman's carry takeover right off and Anderson has to seek the ropes for the break. Waistlock takedown follows, Jason holds on, another takedown and again Karl gets the ropes. Jordan runs into a right hand and Machine Gun grabs a side headlock to take him down to a knee, shoot off, shoulder block, Jason hoists him up and drops him down!

Looking for the charging shoulder thrust, Luke Gallows catches his eye and Anderson takes advantage with a basement dropkick to wipe his knee out and send us to break.

Back from the break and Anderson has Jordan grounded. Anderson works on the left arm and slams Jordan by it. Anderson with a spinebuster for a 2 count. Anderson takes Jordan back to the mat now. Jordan gets up and fights back but Anderson elbows him. Jordan looks to turn it around as Gallows yells from ringside. Jordan drops Anderson twice and rams him back into the corner a few times. Jordan with a belly-to-belly suplex. Jordan with a big spear in the corner.

Gallows gets on the apron again. Anderson tries to take advantage with a cheap shot but Jordan manages to turn it around after side-stepping. Jordan with a big neckbreaker for the pin.

Winner: Jason Jordan

We cut to Elias walking backstage and go to break.

Backstage With The Miz

Backstage, Miz is being worked on by the trainers. Kurt Angle walks in and ask Miz if he has any broken bones or torn ligaments. Miz says no. Angle says this what happens when you provoke people. Miz wanted the spotlight so he’s got it: Miz and The Bar will face the Shield in a TLC match in the main event of TLC.

Apollo Crews vs. Elias

Elias is in the ring ready to sing us a song. He says Apollo Crews' career is like the Indy 500, it goes in circles and nobody cares. He starts playing but a cacophony of clashing notes comes up and Titus O'Neil comes out plucking a banjo! He does his own version of the Drifter's spiel and says everybody needs to get ready to follow Apollo, since he's drummed up a little song for Elias.

Titus plucks a few random notes and sings about how Samson is about to lose to a man by the name of Apollo Crews. Truly, he's the great musician of our time. Apollo makes his entrance, but we go to break before the match begins.

The match is in progress, both men a little worn down as the Drifter stomps away at Apollo in the corner. Heading outside, wrenching his arm over the apron a few times, back in, off the ropes, he drops him with a lariat but Crews kicks out at one. Arm wringer, to the turnbuckles, up top... OLD SCHOOL! Armbar, but soon enough Apollo is mounting a comeback, standing shooting star press... NO GOOD!

Back outside, whip, Crews leaps up to the apron and comes off with a moonsault! Clubbing away in the ring, referee John Cone having to back him off and that gives Elias an opportunity to drop toehold him into the ropes and Elias hits Drift Away for the victory.

Winner: Elias

In The Ring With Enzo Amore

Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore is shown walking backstage before break and is out when we return from commercial.

Enzo says about a week ago he and Angle were doing good business. Angle gave him a no-contact clause. Enzo is confused because Angle signs Kalisto and Kalisto assault him and is handed a title shot. Enzo demands Angle come to the ring right now to explain why he did that. Angle comes out to a rousing “You Suck” chant from the WWE Universe. Enzo asks why Kalisto is able to assault him and still gets a title shot. Angle explains the clause only applied to cruiserweights who signed before Angle signed the clause.

Amore complains that Angle has hustled him, and asks him to show some respect. He's trying to understand why Kalisto is getting an opportunity when Kurt is GM, he's champion, and he's putting the division on the map as its biggest star, so stop hustling him and worry about what makes him happy. Angle says he does want to make him happy, so forget about the match at TLC...

Enzo celebrates, but Kurt isn't done yet... he's putting the title on the line TONIGHT! Amore is silent for a moment before saying he's the Realest Champ in the Room and he'll defend his lady, but only under one condition-- it has to be the main event. Angle shakes his hand, the deal is done! Enzo dances and Kurt leaves, but stops short on the ramp, telling him that if he better think twice about getting counted-out or disqualified, because he's suspending the no-contact for tonight and putting the cruiserweight division in as lumberjacks!

Commentary again hypes up the Sister Abigail reveal and has a giggle about the idea of Booker T dressed as a lumberjack.

Braun Strowman is walking backstage, he'll be in action after the break.

Matt Hardy vs. Braun Strowman

Back from the break and out comes Braun Strowman marching to the ring. Matt Hardy is out next.

Braun overpowers Matt a few times to start the match. Hardy keeps trying to bring it but Braun shuts him down. Matt goes for the Side Effect but Braun counters and launches him across the ring. Matt ends up down outside of the ring as Braun stands tall and we go to commercial.

Braun charges in the corner but Matt moves and Braun hits the ring post, falling out to the floor. They bring it back in and Matt beats on Braun. Braun shoves him down in the corner. Braun charges again but runs into an elbow, then a boot. Matt comes off the second rope but Braun catches him. Matt turns that into a tornado DDT for a big pop.

Matt goes for a Twist of Fate and nails it but Braun still kicks out at 1. Braun comes back and overpowers Matt again, driving him to the mat. Braun scoops Matt for the running powerslam and the win.

Winner: Braun Strowman

After the match, The Monster Among Men grabs Matt and tosses him out to the floor. Braun follows and scoops Matt, carrying him up to the stage as his music hits. Braun looks to drive Matt into the LED boards but out comes The Shield. Braun drops Matt and faces off with Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose. Braun grabs Reigns and drives him into the boards but Rollins and Ambrose attack him. Reigns nails a spear on the stage for a pop as Braun tangles with the tag team champions. The Shield triple teams Braun now. They take apart the announce table now, then drag Braun over and put him through the table with the triple powerbomb. The music hits as The Shield stands tall. We go to commercial.

Backstage With The Shield

Backstage the Shield are walking along in a celebratory mood when they run into an interview. Seth cuts her off and says they're back and stronger than ever, and Dean adds that they're gonna do their best, and destroy everything in their path. Roman says they'll take on the whole world if they have to, but know this-- they're the workhorses that run this business. Rollins drops the "believe that" and they're off!

Mickie James Holds Court

Mickie James makes her entrance and she says since she came back she hasn't felt quite accepted in the locker room and wonders if it's her accent or her music or her age, but she realized she has one person to thank for feeling this way, and that's Alexa Bliss. Every since Bliss realized she can't manipulate James, she's been running around playing her little games and taking cheap shots at her.

But not to her face, no, behind her back. And when she's one second from beating her "best friend", Alexa attacked her from behind. So the way she sees it, it's time for Bliss to jump out of her booster seat and put on her big girl pants. James says she doesn't play games and she's all woman, can she say the same? She's got more energy than Alexa has hair extensions, and the only number she cares about is the number seven.

She's gonna make history by becoming a seven-time women's champion--

Enter Alexa Bliss. She's not here to cause trouble or make fun of her age, and she says she's sorry. Mickie has been treated so badly for so long, and she's spend all week putting together a career retrospective for the younger fans who might not know who Mickie is or what she's accomplished. She rolls footage and of course it's a black-and-white newsreel calling James a senior citizen.

Alexa's laughing her face off when the video stops and she asks "grandma" if it isn't past her bedtime and tells her to go home and get some rest, because the last frames of that video are gonna be filmed at TLC where she'll run circles around her, and she'll send her a link to the video, or better yet a VHS tape. Mickie says her age must be catching up to her because she can't quite hear her, and she invites the champion to bring her "biscuit butt" into the ring to say it again.

Bliss asks if anybody has a battery for a hearing aid before saying if she wants to do it, she'll do it right now. She holds the title high and walks to the ring before saying yeah, right, that move is as old as Mickie is. James follows after and pulls her back into the ring for a beatdown! Alexa barely dodges a Mick Kick and heads for the hills!

Commentary hypes up our lumberjack match for later and we go to break.

Back from commercial we get an Asuka vignette and it's revealed that Kurt Angle was watching it backstage with Bayley and Sasha Banks. Bayley pitches him on being Asuka's first opponent and welcoming her with a big ol'... hug. Sasha stakes her claim and Alicia Fox rolls up to complain about them getting all the opportunities, seeing as she's been around a decade and hasn't even got a t-shirt.

Dana Brooke joins the pile to complain and says sometimes she doesn't even feel like she exists. Emma tells her to zip it and says she deserves the match since she started the women's revolution and it would break Twitter. Angle says they settle in the ring and he books a five-way tonight for the pleasure of wrestling Asuka at TLC.

Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher vs. Cedric Alexander & Mustafa Ali

Alexander and Kendrick to start, Brian jawing at him to distract from Gallagher yanking Ali off the apron! Taking it to Cedric in their corner, quick tag to Gallagher, snapmare into a rear chinlock, releasing him for a dropkick when it seems he'll escape and making the tag. Kendrick with a butterfly suplex for one, Jack getting an assist in with a choke and making the tag.

Chest kicks from the Gentleman into a front chancery, Alexander ducks a kick and fires one of his own and tags Mustafa in. Off the ropes, pop-up dropkick, Brian tags in, Ali evades him and kicks him from the apron, rolling thunder neckbreaker gets two but Gallagher makes the save and takes Mustafa outside. Ali puts Jack into the barricade, shoulder block, slingshot in, Kendrick with a legscissors takeover into a cover, he grabs a cravate after the kickout. But Kendrick hits Ali with Sliced Bread #2 for the victory

Winners: Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher

Back from a break and we see what The Shield has been doing tonight. Kurt Angle is on the phone when The Miz walks in. He wants The Shield to keep their word when they say they can face 4 or 5 men. Braun walks right back out and Miz smiles at Angle. The match at TLC will now be a 3-on-4 match.

We go to the ring and out comes Finn Balor to a pop.

Balor hits the ring and a "too sweet" chant breaks out. Finn brings up how Bray Wyatt introduced the world to Sister Abigail last week. Balor doesn't even know what to say anymore, he's speechless. He says Wyatt is like a poison, a virus that keeps mutating with more lies and more mind games. Balor doesn't believe him. He says Wyatt is desperate, desperate for attention and to instill fear. Balor goes on and says he is not afraid of Wyatt, The Balor Club is not afraid of Wyatt, The Demon is not afraid either. His voice starts to change, sounding more like a female and going back & forth to Wyatt's voice. Abigail says she promised Wyatt she would always be by his side... so here she is. Scorned, burnt to a crisp and rising from the ashes to fulfill her promise to her little prince. Wyatt/Abigail goes on about destroying Balor and The Demon. Abigail says Balor cannot beat her/him. Abigail goes on and tells Balor to run, then starts laughing. Wyatt transforms back to his usual self and keeps laughing. Balor looks on as he's warned to run one more time.
