Christy Hemme

2004 WWE Diva Search winner Christy Hemme recently received some fantastic and unexpected news. Hemme made a name for herself by participating in numerous storylines in WWE before heading off to TNA, where she did the ring announcing duties for several years. She and her husband welcomed their first daughter Charlie Rose into the world in 2015, but now the couple is expecting to have more children soon. The former WWE and TNA employee announced on social media that she is currently 15 weeks pregnant with quadruplets. She is currently on bed rest, and her doctors described her pregnancy as being rather high-risk.

We've all heard the news of Sexy Star legitimately injuring Rosemary at AAA's Triplemania show a few weeks back. Now it appears that a similar controversy has arisen, and it involves Cody Hall, the son of wrestling legend Scott Hall. He and independent wrestler Vinnie Massaro went back and fourth with numerous tweets recently, and it began with Hall calling out Massaro for bailing on one of their matches. Massaro then accused Cody of being just as dangerous in the ring as Sexy Star is, but he also indicated that Cody's incidents get overlooked because he is the son of a famous wrestler. Some highlights of the conversation are posted below.

One of the most controversial wrestling promotions in the world today has just received a TV deal in the United Kingdom. The UK's FreeSports network announced recently that 5 Star Wrestling will be broadcasting their shows live on the station starting in 2018. The promotion became a hot topic earlier this year when they announced that they were offering CM Punk £1 million to compete on one of their shows. The news comes right after UK promotion Preston City Wrestling announced that negotiations to come to FreeSports had fallen through. Numerous UK wrestling talents have voiced their disapproval of the promotion coming to FreeSports.
