Raw Airing on Christmas/New Years, Enzo News, Cena/Rock Movie?

Raw is officially continuing their trend of airing each and every single Monday night. It turns out that not even the holidays can stop the show from airing. WWE announced that Raw is going to be airing live on USA Network as usual on Christmas Day and New Year's Day this year. In the past, WWE has not aired shows live over the holidays. Instead, they have typically pre-taped shows that were scheduled to air on major holidays before airing them on the appropriate date. The last time Raw aired on Christmas and New Year's Day within the same year was back in 2006. WWE announced the news on their website, stating: "Deck the halls and ring in the New Year with Monday Night Raw, live on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 on USA Network."

Obviously, John Cena is becoming more of a mainstream Hollywood actor with each passing day. He has taken a great deal of time off from WWE to focus on his new career as of late, and he is set to leave again very soon to begin shooting the new Transformers spinoff movie Bumblebee. However, That Hashtag Show reported that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Cena could be starring in the DC Comics movie Shazam. Johnson will be playing the villain of the film, Black Adam, and he is producing the movie. Cena is reportedly in consideration to play the titular superhero in the film. The Rock and John Cena faced off against each other in the ring at Wrestlemania 28 and Wrestlemania 29.

It has not been a very easy year for Raw superstar Enzo Amore. He was split away from his tag team partner Big Cass earlier this year, and his feud against Cass did not go in Amore's favor most of the time. He is supposedly legitimately hated by most of the WWE staff, but he is getting a second chance as a cruiserweight on 205 Live. Enzo Amore used a variation of Gail Kim's Eat Defeat finisher in his match on Raw last week. In his match against Drew Gulak this week, he used the manuever again to get the win, so it appears that this is Enzo's new finishing move. The move has not received a name from Amore as of yet.
