D Lo Brown

You know who rarely ever gets mentioned in the wrestling world nowadays? D'Lo Brown, that's who. It looks like Mattel has changed all of that thanks to newly released images of his brand new action figure. D'Lo Brown was recently confirmed to be in the upcoming Elite 52 lineup, and the Elite series delivers wrestlers from the past and present with more detail and accessories than other figures in different series. D'Lo has not received an action figure of any kind in several years, he even missed out on the decade-long run that WWE had with Jakks Pacific on their action figures. Brown released a sneak peak of his long-awaited action figure just recently.

Brown has worked in numerous different wrestling promotions over the course of his long career. He achieved great success in WWE (then WWF) during the company's 'Attitude Era'. In that time, he won the Intercontinental Championship once, and he won the European title on four separate occasions. Brown was also one of the more prominent members of the former Nation of Domination stable that ran from 1996 to 1998. He also worked as a backstage agent before becoming a member of the former Aces & Eights faction during his time in TNA Wrestling. He has worked in for some independent promotions, as well as Japan, but is now semi-retired from the business.

As mentioned, it's been well over a decade since Brown has received his own action figure. This may be why he was so excited that he personally tweeted out the photo of what it would look like. Brown will be coming with his signature chest protector that he used to wear, as well as the European Championship. The head sculpt, skin tone, and wrestling attire look rather spot on, and his rarity will only help the action figure sell well. It's cool to see Brown get another action figure after all of these years, and this one is certainly not one to be missed. D'Lo will be joining Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Braun Strowman, Ken Shamrock, and Seth Rollins in the Elite 52 lineup in September.
