Figure News: Exclusive NXT Action Figure Series Coming to Target

After teasing a series of images hidden in silhouettes all week long on social media, Mattel and WWE have revealed their newest line of action figures. It was announced earlier today that there will be a new set of NXT figures coming exclusively to Target later this year. It looks as though there will be a new NXT ring that you will be able to purchase soon for all of your NXT figures to fight in. There will also be a series of both elite and basic figures representing the past and present stars of the yellow brand. Be on the lookout for new NXT figures coming your way.

In the elite lineup, we have Seth Rollins, No Way Jose, Bayley, and Austin Aries to start off the first wave of figures. Bayley is decked out in blue and comes with her signature arm tassels that she wears during her entrance. Jose is captured nicely with a smiling headsculpt and an all-white attire, he also comes with his white entrance shirt. Austin Aries comes with a hard plastic entrance cape that can be placed over him, and this is his debut elite figure. Seth Rollins serves as a "Flashback" in this series while it still maintains its NXT theme. The figure is based off of his NXT Championship win from several years ago, and he has his hair dyed half-blonde, he's wearing trunks, and comes with the former NXT title.

The basic line includes NXT Championship contender Hideo Itami reemerging in the figure line. Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Samoa Joe also get a new batch of basic figures that are all each based off of their time working in NXT. Andrade "Cien" Almas and "The Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger also make their Mattel debut in the first wave of NXT figures. We even have a new basic figure of Finn Balor dressed as "The Demon", and it is based off of his steel cage match against the aforementioned Samoa Joe from NXT Takeover: The End. The best part about these figures is that they each come with their very own "Bayley Buddy", all of which would go along nicely with that new elite Bayley from earlier.

No release date has been given for the new action figure series just yet, but the belief is that they'll be hitting the shelves in late summer/early fall.

The past, present, and FUTURE of comes together with these new action figures available at !
