Figure News: WWE.com Wants YOU to Decide a Future Elite Figure

The Elite line is the best way of getting WWE action figures today. Mattel's Elite lineups typically include figures with immense detail, articulation, and plenty of accessories. Usually, Mattel can be pretty picky when it comes to selecting who goes into these lineups though. The usual top stars are always a safe bet, but when it comes to some of the lower-card guys, it's anyone's guess who will end up getting made. Luckily, a new WWE.com poll is asking fans to vote on which WWE Superstar should be created, with the winning wrestler getting a future elite figure treatment. The poll features three wrestlers who have never received an elite figure before.

The first one is "The Drifter" Elias Samson. "The Drifter" could arguably be the most elite-worthy figure of the bunch. The inclusion of his guitar, shirt, and scarves would make for a very nice figure. Mattel's even made guitar accessories before for elite figures of The Honky Tonk Man and The Rock. This figure seems like a real possibility.

Another figure includes Mojo Rawley. You would think that Mattel has this one in the pipeline already, but apparently not. This could be done by including the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy with the figure. I would say that Mojo may likely win the poll, and he probably would get the elite treatment at some point anyway, even if he loses here.

The last option would be to vote for Darren Young. It's strange to think that Darren Young has been on the main roster for about the same length of time that Mattel started producing WWE figures. Despite this, he has never gotten an elite figure before. This figure would likely be based off of his brief partnership with Bob Backlund when they vowed to "Make Darren Young Great Again" last year. His Prime Time Player partner Titus O'Neil also has never gotten the elite figure treatment before. I think that when they won the Tag Team Championships back in 2015, that was the best time for Mattel to capitalize on the two of them, but anything can happen, I suppose.

This poll is currently open and anyone can vote in it. After casting your vote, the site states the following: "Check back with WWE.com on Monday to choose which Cruiserweight will debut as an Elite Series action figure!" This, of course, is likely referring to the current 205 Live roster. Now, I would never want to sway your vote, but doesn't everyone agree that an elite Akira Tozawa is in order here? Just saying is all.
