Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam made waves back in 1997 when he left Extreme Championship Wrestling as one of its big ticket performers to join the WWF.

RVD won a total of 21 championships over the course of his career in ECW, WWF, WWE and TNA, and is the only wrestler to ever have won the ECW World Championship, the WWE Championship and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE.com on Friday celebrated the 20th anniversary of RVD's debut with the WWF as he squared off against Jeff Hardy on Raw on May 12, 1997.
