Simon Gotch

Simon Gotch asked for his release from the WWE last week and it was granted, according to a Wrestling Observer report.

The Wrestling Observer also reported Gotch was part of two backstage incidents which rubbed some in WWE the wrong way. Gotch allegedly tipped over his own chair, and then got mad when he fell, creating a scene in WWE catering before the SmackDown Live show in Orlando on April 4th. In 2016, Gotch and Sin Cara had another backstage run-in which Sin Cara described as a "one-way destruction."

Gotch's next reported appearances so far are both in the UK. He has been promoted as part of the XWA "Exculsive Series" in London on July 22, and will face former TNA wrestler Doug Williams in the UK Pro Wrestling Pride promotion on July 28th.
